“TENDER MERCY OF OUR GOD” : Tuesday July 11

Luke 1 : 77-78

"To give knowledge of salvation unto His people by the remission of their sins. 78) Through the tender mercy of our God ; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,"

The mercy of God is the sweetener and mother of all attributes of God. Mercy is not the fruit of our goodness but the fruit of God’s faithfulness for our salvation. It was through the tender mercy of God that Jesus was sent to give us salvation from what we deserve for our shortcomings.

Mercy has come to us as a covenant package of the love of God towards us all. Therefore, mercy should make us not to become the enemy of God, but friends with HIM. Jesus was on a special mission by mercy. He stood as our advocate and still on the right side of our Father of mercy pleading our cases.

Brethren, we should not wonder in the darkness of sin, because we know that mercy is able to speak for us through the blood that was shed at Calvary. We should not abuse the truth that our God is more inclined to mercy than judgement/wrath and then begin to swim in the river of sin. We need to remember that God gives Justice to provoke His mercy. His oil of mercy will not dry away in our lives, in Jesus Name.

Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1) Father, thank you for the flowing of the oil of mercy, in Jesus Name.

2) Father, thank you for the forgiveness of my iniquities by mercy, in Jesus Name.

3) Lord, let me enjoy your mercy till eternity, in Jesus Name.

4) Lord, let voice of mercy come out louder for me and my family this season, in Jesus Name.

5) Father, any door of mercy shut against me must open by fire, in Jesus Name.

6) Father, you are the author and the finisher of mercy, let me enjoy your mercy till the end, in Jesus Name.

7) Father, mercy will never ever turn against me, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed and wonderful day!
