1 Corinthians 13:4-5
"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,"
Today is the first day after the celebration of the Valentine’s Day worldwide and the “fire” of love is still burning! Let it keep burning. However, this is not so in every marriage. Actually, some marriages just patched up yesterday to begin to face the reality of true love and the ability to take up the challenges of love in dimensions of God, according to 1 Corinthians chapter 13. Love chapter in the Bible.
The dimensions listed in the Bible for love are challenging to flesh, but easy for the spirit to face. When flesh is put up front ; love does not last, because the physical things we can see trim down of the mountain of love; flesh may turn back. However, if the spirit is deployed from the first day you meet someone, love will be long suffering and specially kind.
Brethren, love should be displayed even towards our worst critics. Jesus displayed such love and He was able to conquer the unloveable. Love is powerful to move difficult relationship/situations forward and eventually stabilized. You can control long suffering and kindness from your side, but cannot determine how others would respond. Love application and challenge is personal. Own your love life and do not allow situation or others to dictate the dimensions of your love life. Amen.
