Mark 1:14-15
14) "Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God, 15) And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel"
The Kingdom theology is the area of the Bible that reveals all aspects involved in the Kingdom of God. As a result, we shall look at the information of the Kingdom divided into
1) our present dispensation and
2) the age to come.
According to St. Mark gospel verses above, preaching of the gospel of the kingdom was the beginning of Jesus earthly Ministry. Jesus He (Jesus ) needed to come on stage because John had been in prisoned for being a threat to the things the Pharisees were teaching and doing. They preached what they did nor practice.
The Pharisees did all they could to stop the good news, but there is always a way out. The message of the kingdom because necessary and it is in our generation now. The imprisonment of John was to suppress the kingdom and it’s good news. There are many attempts to suppress the Kingdom even within the kingdom, apart from the external events.
The gospel of the Kingdom is glorious than what is imagined. It cannot be shut down by mentality of the Pharisees or their intellects. No matter the theology of the Sadducees; the Kingdom has been pre fixed after the victory achieved at Calvary. They may slow it down, they may place whatever barrier, but on the second arrival of Jesus, every barrier, hinderance and “imprisonment” of the kingdom carriers shall end. Amen. Be strong and resolve to stay in the Kingdom. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for another day of glorious kingdom, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, blot out every sin written with point of iron against me and family, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, remove every sin written with the point of diamond against me and family, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let me live a life of the kingdom child, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, from this present age consider me for your eternal kingdom, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let the me and my family enjoy the kingdom in a new dimension, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, set me free from every spirit of “imprisonment” in Jesus Name. Amen.
