Matthew 11:12
"And from the days of the John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and violence take it by force"
Violence against the kingdom became more pronounced in the days of John the Baptist; continued in the days of Jesus and the Apostles until now in our days. These days, the violence suffered are mostly from the unnecessary competition amongst men and women of God ; also within and without the kingdom itself. Causing division and proliferation in the kingdom.
Violence is a negative force against progress of almost anything in life. A violent man is cruel, inhuman, rough and destructive. In fact any violent situation is ruthless in nature. Violence not checked always have sad end. There is no violence without marks or traces of pain caused.
John the Baptist faced the violence and made history we read today. You too can be part of the spiritual movement to challenge the violence against whatever represent your kingdom. Take it back by force. Confront to conquer every violent barrier, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the grace to confront and conquer, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, by your power let me conquer every hostility in the kingdom, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let me be more than conqueror in this kingdom, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, be in charge of “my kingdom” and fire proof it, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, let every agent of violence in “my kingdom” be silenced for ever, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, arise for me and fight against every direct hostility against “my kingdom” in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, neutralize every physical and spiritual violence against “my kingdom” in Jesus Name. Amen.
Have a blessed and wonderful day!
