“THE LOVE OF GOD”

Romans 5:5

"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us"

Here we are again in the season of love of 2014. The flowers will soon be shed abroad for our loved ones. Friends and families will soon start the normal greetings “Happy Valentine”. However, lets stop a moment and think about true love. The kind of the love of God is uncommon in the sense that God loves us without placing any limits conditions or requirements before us. It was after his love that sin caused us to go astray and then came the law of God. Even inside the law, God has made allowance for abundance of grace, mercy and compassion.

God knew from the beginning that we would not be able to handle grace and mercy according to His plans, He sent His only begotten Son Jesus by special Spirit of the Holy Ghost to assist us in the darkness of the world. To lead us and guide us so that none should perish.

The love of God is highly different from the love of man. When God loves us; there are no limits to the love. He loves us unconditionally. He loves the sinners, but hates the sins in their lives. He sent Jesus to die for every one (called the ungodly) that can confess that JESUS IS LORD. Let us love others as God loves us. It may be challenging, but it is rewarding. Unconditional love is a winning weapon in all situations. It brings win/win situation in a conflict and puts the devil to shame. Let your love be pure and undiluted. Share it abroad. It is divinely refreshing. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

• 1) Lord, thank you for the year 2014, in Jesus Name.
• 2) Father, be thou exalted for all you have been to me and my household thus far, in Jesus Name.
• 3) Father, be thou glorified for your unconditional love, mercy and compassion for me and my household, in Jesus Name.
• 4) Lord, this year, let me be the symbol of unconditional love, in Jesus Name.
• 5) Father, use me as a subject and as an object of your divine miracles, in Jesus Name.
• 6) Almighty God, let this year 2014 speak uncommon favors into all that concerns my life. In Jesus Name.
• 7) Father, where ever any one mentions my name and family name for evil, arise and turn it to blessings for us, in Jesus Name. Amen.
