John 11:25-26
KJV
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. 26) And whosoever liveth and beliveth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
NKJV
“Jesus said unto her, “ I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26) And whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?
Our Lord Jesus Christ was speaking in the above Bible passages and we can also learn that He was addressing “whosoever”. Believers and unbelievers. This covered mainly the unbelievers and it can perfectly fit that Jesus evangelized “whosoever“ that can listen and come. People heard Jesus clearly, but not every one listened came to accept the open call for free salvation.
God can use anything and situations or circumstances to call His people. He called whosoever to come and believe when Lazarus was raised from the dead. He used the sychrononichian woman at the well to evangelize. He used the healing of the man at the Pool of Bethesda to call us against sinning. What is going on in the world today that we are all staying home and away from one another to protect ourselves may seem to be another divine evangelism and part of the call of God at this time. No one is sure. One thing that is sure is that the time is running out. Believers should also wake up.
Are you part of the “whosoever” who stumbles into reading this devotional today, or you are a Christian who normally read? Let today be your special day of total acceptance and surrender to the Resurrection and the life. HE is waiting for more souls to come to His side. The satan is also competing fiercely at this time! Do not chip in your soul to the satan’s side. The door of salvation is still wide open. Enter and be totally saved, in Jesus Name. Amen.
