”THE SPIRIT GIVES LIFE”. Part II: Monday April 19

John 6:63 NKJV

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.”

Flesh brings sin and eventually death. It is only the spirit that endures in righteousness and eventually leads to life. The spirit helps the flesh to live. It helps our infirmity and puts us on the right communion and relationship with God. Without the spirit the flesh will be dead. It is the Spirit of the living God that convicts and enable us to have life. The spirit quikeneth us to do good and live well. Amen. Allow the spirit to work and it will work. If you take the spirit out of the way, it will not compel you to remain. It is a voluntary thing.

Jesus is the Spirit that gives us life eternal. He was born to die for us. He was resurrected to give us life in eternity. He is at the right Hand of God mainly pleading our cases with His precious blood shed at Calvary. He wants us to be where He is, having prepared for us. Are we prepared? Eternity is real. Either heaven or hell!

Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. He was born of the Spirit. He lived the life of Spirit and walked by the power of the Spirit. He worked miracles in the Spirit of the living God. He spoke and still speaking through the word in spirit. Resurrected in the spirit and Has given us life in the spirit. Amen. Let the spirit leads your flesh and then the journey with Jesus will be smoother. Amen.

Prayer points for the day

1. Father, thank you for the grace and the gift of life, even in the midst of the terrifying situations, in Jesus Name.
2. Father, let my spirit overwhelm my flesh to your glory, in Jesus Name.
3. Lord, prepare my life ready for eternity, in Jesus Name.
4. Lord, let the truth and the power of thy word increase my faith at these trying times, in Jesus Name.
5. Lord, let my heart be washed and sanitized ready for eternal life, in Jesus Name.
6. Father, let your mercy apply to all areas of our generation, in Jesus Name.
7. Lord, give me and my family lives that will make ways to eternity, in Jesus Name. Amen.
