Jonah 2:9
“But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving ; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.”
After all said and done, Prophet Jonah counted his many blessings for the restoration of his life from the belly of the fish that swallowed him. This kind of rescue had not been recorded before in the Bible neither have we heard of it in our generation. It was really worth of thanksgiving. He bursted into singing songs of thanksgiving, right inside of ; and during his divine sentence, in the belly of the fish that swallowed him. His voice became the voice of a re- known for thanksgiving.
The voice of thanksgiving is the opposite of voice of sorrowing. Everything that will bring sorrows to us will end this very season, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen. All the thanksgiving voice of Jonah were made while he was yet to be delivered. He put his praises forth to God. He knew God as God, before he decided to go opposite direction and against God’s plans, but with the voice of thanksgiving ahead, God heard Jonah and God Moved for a major deliverance in Jonah’s life.
Voice of Jonah’s thanksgiving provoked the hands of God to arise quickly for Jonah. In a similar way, you can begin your daily life’s routine with voice of thanksgiving and wait earnestly that God’s Hands are enough to move and rescue you in every dilemma of life. Let God hear your voice of thanksgiving rather than voice of dilemmas. God is more than able to put an utter end to suffering ; with thanksgiving in advance. Amen and Amen.
