1 Peter 5:10
King James Version
"But the God of all grace, who hath called us into His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that he have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."
New Living Translation
"In His Kindness God called you to share in His eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation."
Bible users and scholars are more adapted to some versions of the Bible against others. As long as the version adapted to is full and complete without any adjustments, we should be good. 1 Peter 5:10 is taken from two versions for more clarity. Thank you for bearing with us.
There is a glory that lasts for ever and that is the one we will be looking at for the rest of the week. What is the use of a glory that comes and goes away because of exposure to the hands of the wicked and dried off and out? That is the more reason we need to pray to God to fire proof our glory, in Jesus Name.
The glory that descends from God is expected to last till eternity. No matter what traps the enemies try to lay on the path of your glory, they will not succeed, in Jesus Name. Amen. Your glory has been ordained to shine till eternity. Your glory shall not be reversed into shame because God Has made it to shine and grow. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the season of my bright and shining glory, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, make a way for my glory to rise and shine, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, let the power of glory keep me from any forms of shame, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, arise and let every of my reproach be turned into glory, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, restore every of my lost glory, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let my glory plant my feet upon the solid rock of eternity, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, my glory will not fade away, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Have a blessed and wonderful day!
