Ecclesiastes 12:14
"For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."
Judgement is one of the issues to be considered under our theme (weightier matters ) for the month of October. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27 that “And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this judgement.” People do not want to face the reality and the truth that there is a time to leave everything behind to answer the call of God and then judgement.
Our people need to be thought of the reality of judgement and not just touching their pockets for tithe and offerings. The truth is that with God, there are no secrets. We can hide all things from man and you can impress on man; yet have plans of evil, but all things are open before God. Luke 12:2, and invariably for judgement.
Doing good or bad has adequate rewards. There is no good that can ever be in vain and equally there is no evil that will go away unrewarded. If the evil doers escape rewards for evil committed, their descendants will not escape the evil rewards. It is doing good that takes one to good place. The good that your fore fathers did are still in the record of God to take you to good place. The same with evil. Shun every appearance of evil. Do good always, even if it will cost you pains. God is the rewarder of all works of men. Amen.
