Matthew 12:20
"A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgement unto victory."
There is victory promised from time to time in the Old Testament for the people of Israel. There is a promise of victory for every one that has been bruised or any situation that is taking its toll on you or any of your families, in Jesus Name. Jesus will keep you standing because He is sending judgement unto victory in your favor. Amen.
An individual, society, nation may experience a season that represent bruised reeds, but there is victory. This part will touch on the bruised reed. A bruised reed is something that has been tortured and battered badly, bruised and there is evidence. It could be a life that may be bruised and hopeless. Is it with lack, delays, loneliness or defeat from making progress in any part of life? There is a good news for hope and recovery because Jesus has promised judgement for the power, protocol, people behind our bruises and victory for us. Amen.
The bible passage is of a divine promise. Jesus has promised that Whatever glory, blessings that are not holding together in your circumstances shall not be broken. People may see them and begin to say yes, “things are no long at ease”, but God is not saying so in your life. God says your bruised, cracked or bent reed can never ever be broken, because of Jesus. Whose reports will you hold on to after you have done everything to be done and you are still feeling bruised and broken? Listen to God’s still small voice. Jesus will not allow the bruised reed to be broken away on you. Do your best. Trust God in your best and victory shall be yours, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for another and extended day of victory, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, let every area bruised in my life come alive, in Jesus Name.
3) Father, heal my bruise reeds and let there be nothing broken, nothing missing any more, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let your balm in Gilead be sufficient for my bruised life, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, do not allow sins from wherever, bruise my life and family again, in Jesus Name.
6) Lord, whatever may be taking toll against my progress and pushing my life backwards, must encounter God, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, heal my bruises and do not allow my fire to quench, in Jesus Name.
