Ephesians 5:16-17
"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.- Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is"
The book of Romans 13:12 reminds us that the night is far spent, the day is at hand…The day that is at hand is the day of the Lord. This is a year that Christians must be spiritually wise to actually understand the will of God. This will go a long way in helping us to redeem the time before it is over.
The days are evil. Let us take the days back to the last five years how our world has become more evil than in the days of the ‘the sons of God with the daughters of men’ mingled together to produce giants. Genesis 6:4 refers. The Bible says in verse 5 that God saw the wicked imagination of their thoughts was just evil.
Today, the imagination of the evil has become a reality in this present world. There is massive sufferings, by evil in the whole world that calls for a great redemption of time and souls of mankind. God had long time prepared for this situation; because HE knew the end from the beginning, being present in all eternity past, present and future; hence the plan of redemption was put in place for us through the blood of Jesus Christ. If we can endeavor to double our spiritual efforts and conduct spiritual re – examination of the standing of our faith: Yielding to that small voice that speaks to the grey areas of our Christian lives. The New Year 2015 can be the year for many Christians to redeem the time and be on the side of the Lord always. Remember that GOD is always on our side. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the grace granted to redeem the time lost, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, thank you for the power in the redemption blood of Jesus for me and my household, in Jesus Name.
3) Almighty God, thank you for giving me and my family the grace to be among the living today, in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit to break every yoke of known and unknown bondage in my household, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, on behalf of my household, help us to redeem the lost time in Jesus Name.
6) Almighty God, let this New Year 2015 speak uncommon favor into every area that my life and entire household, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, let me experience the grace and mercy of divine solution even before any problem starts this year, in Jesus Name. Amen.
