James 1: 2-3
"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptation; 3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
The above Bible passages are addressed to believers living lifestyles of faith. Apostle James used them to encourage us that our faith would be tested and tried by temptation at some point in life and we need not to compromise, but stand strong in patience.
Faith is definitely one of the works of patience. If you see people that are patient, they are always faithful. They easily count all things for joy. They live their lives for the Lord with patience, regardless the currency of circumstances around them. Joy comes to them naturally in all things, knowing fully well that God got their back.
Faith honors God and God honors faith. It also works with the power of God, who is Faithful. No temptation can get to a faithful person by surprise. Their faith stand tall to temptation because they can endure with patience. A blessed man’s/woman’s faith will be tested, but God will vindicate them at last. God will not forsake a faithful Christian. Do not look at the success of the unfaithfulness of the unfaithful. God sets up to test our stand in faith. Abraham is our good example. When you are blessed or about to be blessed, you better be ready for your trial/test. God is not unaware of your trials. Keep your head cool. Give them to HIM and HE would see you through at the end, in Jesus Name.
Amen.
