1 Chronicles 29:11
"Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the Kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all."
“Thine, O LORD”, confirms that God is the source of victory, not man, not your influence or connection. The above passage is part of the numerous praises and prayers of Kind David to God; who always gave him victory in every battle he faced. King David’s life was full of spiritual exploits from the days of killing the bears and lions with ordinary hands to bringing down the head of Goliath; the most dreadful enemy of the Israelites etc.
King David fought many wars and never lost any except for the battles in his own household, because of the consequences of his wrong actions. He won many wars than the battles he lost and that is victory. Whatever any one accomplishes here on earth has been a done deal in the realm of the Spirit. If we can read in between the lines of the passage today, it would be discovered that Victory comes from the Lord. “Thine, O Lord, is the……………………… No one can command victory but God.
There is nothing that points to your victory outside God. Get to know more of HIM and His power, glory and majesty of His victory. God wants us to be victorious. He knows the beginning and the end of the beginning of all our struggles, battles and wars. He is known as the MAN of war who owns and gives victory. Surrender all to HIM and you will live a total victorious life, in Jesus Name.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for the revelation of victory in my life and family today, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, thank you for the season of all time victory, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, let me encounter your victory in all the battles of my life, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, let my life be victorious over all sins, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, I need your victory over and over again, in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
6) Father, let your power of victory in flow and indeed overflow into my life and family, in Jesus Name.
7) Lord, let me swim in the river of thy victory for the rest of my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
