Colossians 2:7
"Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."
Not all those that are called Christians in our age are truly rooted and built in Jesus Christ, because people and indeed Christians fall into diverse temptations because of persistent pressure all around. Though, they stand, yet not rooted and when the wind blows they are uprooted. They are not moved by the treasure in knowing Jesus and doing the gospel right. It is not too late to become truly rooted. Please let this season of thanksliving and thanksgiving be a turning point, in Jesus Name.
However, the bible admonishes us to be rooted up. To grow up and be established and abound therein with thanksgiving. The foundation of the gospel is strong enough for those that received it in earnest to hold them till the end. Amen.
What ever that is rooted is liken to a tree, and a tree without deep root can easily be blown off. Stand deep in the word. Get deeper in understanding which will eventually lead to your establishment. Be encouraged to go further in the mystery that has been given unto us in the Kingdom. This is the thanksgiving season; please remain alert in the gospel and stand in faith, even when there is nothing to stand for. Give thanks in and out of the season and you will be rooted and be established, in Jesus Name. Amen.
Prayer points for the day
1) Father, thank you for giving me a lifestyle of thanksgiving, in Jesus Name.
2) Lord, uproot everything in my family and life that run opposite to the gospel in Jesus Name.
3) Father, let me stand in the grace, favor and power of the gospel in Jesus Name.
4) Lord, let me be fully established in the gospel, in Jesus Name.
5) Father, keep me standing till the end in thy kingdom, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let my season of thanksgiving come with miracles, in Jesus Name.
7) Almighty God, with this thanksgiving season move me and my family higher up to my next level, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
