2 Samuel 1:26
“I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant has thou been unto me: thy love was wonderful, passing the love of women”
Jonathan offered love that was qualified as wonderful, because it had correct motive from the very start they met each other. It was love in action and in the right direction for the right purpose. Amen. David, in turn had every reason to believe that the love Jonathan expressed to him was wonderful. Also, for Jonathan to love David; who would eventually take the crown in his stead; was unprecedentedly wonderful.
For Jonathan to be so faithful to someone like David who was a rival, was noteworthy and surpassed any high degree of affectionate love; thus making the love to be full of wonders. David was distressed for the passing away of his blossom friend and he expressed it by saying that Jonathan was his brother. The more David had loved Jonathan, the more he expressed distress for losing a loved one.
Every pleasant relationship has deep love that will consist of wonders. It is the kind of love that never fails. That is how the love of God speaks into our lives. The love of Jonathan placed him as priority in the heart of David, even when Jonathan was no more. Love spoke into his family and his household never experienced any lack in the land. Amen. Love like Jesus and Jonathan and you will never be a loser. Amen.

1) Father, thank you for the wonderful love you have for me and my family, in Jesus Name.
2) Father, let your love for me and family be permanent, in Jesus Name.
3) Lord, I will not be a Christian without love, in Jesus Name.
4) Father, give me the grace to love more that I am loved, in Jesus Name.
5) Lord, there could be power failure, but do not let your love for me fail, in Jesus Name.
6) Father, let me enjoy your everlasting love, in Jesus Name.
7) Father, increase my spirit of love for you all the time, in Jesus Name.
