“YET THEY BELIEVED NOT”

John 12:37

"But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on Him"

We are still in the extended season of divine healing and divine health. As a child of God, you have your right to the blessing of healing without hindrance. However, apart from sin, the devil and his co – hosts, another major hindrance to prayer is the spirit of unbelief.

The Bible passage revealed to us that even those that lived in the Bible days and especially in the days of our Lord Jesus Christ witnessed many miracles many of which were of healing that Jesus had done before them, still they never believed in the power of supernatural healing. Purely and simple unbelief! And so they would miss out on what Jesus can do not only in terms of miracles, but in signs, wonders and testimonies. If not for God on your side, other people use the medication that healed you and they were not healed. If not for God working in your favor for healing, others see the doctor that handled your case and they had no solution.

Why this massive and general unbelief among Christians? Why this lack of hope by Christians concerning the promises of God? I have no answer, because the desire to belief depends on each individual. However, let the little faith like the mustard seed kick in from today so that you can believe in Jesus – the Name above all other names. The little faith in Jesus would say “God can do it”, while the strong faith in Jesus would say “God will do it” and the great faith would say “God has done it”. What point are you today in your faith? Ask God prayerfully to please increase your faith.

Prayer points for the day

• 1) Father, thank you for the gift of special grace to witness another beautiful day, in Jesus Name.
• 2) Father, thank you for the gift of another month of November 2013, in Jesus Name.
• 3) Almighty God, I pray thee, grant me the grace of increased faith, in Jesus Name.
• 4) Lord, grant me the great faith that God has done it again, in Jesus Name.
• 5) Father, let my life and name count in your Kingdom, in Jesus Name.
• 6) Father, let my healing come with ease of anointing, in Jesus Name.
• 7) Almighty God, let my pain and sorrow end with this year 2013, in Jesus Name.
• 8) Father, I will not carry over any problems, physical, mental, spiritual, financial, whatsoever with me to the New Year, in Jesus Name.
• 9) Father, let the New Year speak new power of God into my household, in Jesus Name.
• 10) Lord, I thank you for making a way for me where there seemed to be no way, in Jesus Name.
